Grayson Koogle of EmeSec Serves on ITEA Board to Develop New Professional Certification Credential

EmeSec, Inc., a provider of forward-looking information assurance and cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies, is leveraging its expertise in test and evaluation (T&E) to support the International Test & Evaluation Association (ITEA) initiative to establish a professional certification credential for Test and Evaluation (T&E) Professionals.

Grayson Koogle, Vice President of Operations at EmeSec, has been appointed to serve as a member of the ITEA Board of Examiners (BOE). The BOE ‘s the primary responsibility is developing and maintaining the certification examinations for the T&E Professional Certification.  Mr. Koogle is a former Test and Evaluation Professor at the former Defense Systems Management College (now Defense Acquisition University).    Prior to this appointment, Mr. Koogle has been an active member of T&E SME Roundtables to identify the key concepts, terms, and activities that define a competent T&E Professional.

The T&E Professional certification is unique and awarded based on a competency exam, providing independent validation of candidates’ proficiency in T&E. This new certification program will ensure that test engineers can demonstrate, maintain, and upgrade the skill sets required to meet the elevated standards of T&E performance and competencies.
